DAMUNT DE VESTITS DE PAPER

Dono les gràcies a Ronda Barcelona per haver-me escollit, en aquest moment donat, per poder mostrar les creacions que he anant plegant/elaborant durant els últims 4 anys, per contemplar que noves iniciatives artístiques es puguin donar.

El tipus de creacions presents sempre parteixen de paper auster, sense troquelar, amb la màxima puresa. Les peces estan treballades a mà, plec a plec, una per una. Un Art manual, delicat, fet amb paciència.

Els vestits aquí presents són uns dels que van formar part en un espectacle, el darrer, al carrer Gran de Gràcia, per la Festa del Comerç a finals de 2016. Aquella va ser la primera vegada que van veure la llum, i el van lluïr noies com ho faràn avui.

Per desig d’alguns que ho van presenciar, aquesta vegada, els vestits no només tindran color sinó que tindran vida a través de les vídeo projeccions que hi aplicarà la Sílvia Isach (sinoca.cat) transmutacions de color a través de la llum i el so. Que gaudiu d’aquesta sinergía! que creiem que dóna un resultat que evoca més que la suma de les dues parts.

Perquè l’Art no és una activitat del temps lliure… És el que ens fa lliures tot el temps!

ABOVE PAPER DRESSES

I would like to thank Ronda Barcelona Galeria for having chosen, at  this time given, to be able to show the creations that I have been working on for the past 4 years, to contemplate the possibility of new artistic initiatives.

The types of creations that are present are always based on basic paper, white, an austere paper, without cutting, with the utmost purity. The pieces are handmade, folded, one by one. A manual, delicate Art, done with patience.

The dresses here are some of those who took part in a show, the last one, in Gran the Gracia street, for the Festa del Comerç at the end of 2016. That was the first time they saw the light, and were dressed for girls as they do today.

Because of the desire of some who witnessed it, this time, the dresses will not only have color but will have life though the video projections that will be applied by Sílvia Isach (SINOCA) color transmtations through light and sound. Enjoy this synergy! Which we believe gives a result that evokes more than the sum of the two parts.

Because Art is not a leisure activity… It is what makes us free all the time!
